Michael Dillon - B Ed (Hons) MA

Michael has been the Headteacher of Birch Hill Primary School since 2015 and is committed to fostering a vibrant and inclusive learning environment while leading a school with an enthusiastic staff. 

Michael began his teaching career in Haringey, North London, and then worked in Richmond upon Thames, before moving to Bracknell Forest in 2015. 

He has overall responsibility for all aspects of the school's strategic development, including curriculum development, assessment strategies, and community engagement.

He is passionate about coaching and mentorship, guiding staff, including teachers, and leaders through professional development opportunities to enhance their teaching practices which ultimately benefit the children. In addition, he leads on NQP SL, supporting leaders as they navigate their early leadership careers in education.

Michael lives in Farnborough with his wife and two children. In his spare time, he enjoys listening to music, training for the odd triathlon and long distance swimming event!
