Headteacher at Maiden Erlegh School in Reading
Will Graham - BA Ed (Hons), NPQH
Will joined Maiden Erlegh School in Reading as Headteacher in September 2022. Following a degree in Physical Education and English at Exeter University, for most of his thirty plus years in education he has been a teacher and leader in seven different schools across the country; from Wiltshire to Kent and then in Berkshire. Will has enjoyed a variety of different roles including Teacher of PE, English, History and Drama; Assistant Headteacher in charge of Key Stage 5 and Deputy Headteacher in charge of the curriculum.
Will has spent most of his career working in comprehensive schools. He has a strong belief that every child deserves an excellent education as well as the opportunity to develop their talents. Will is committed to an inclusive school culture and environment that celebrates diversity and strives for equity in everything that we do.
Outside of work, Will has a busy family life with his wife and three children occupying most of it. He has always been a keen sportsman and enjoys running and swimming, as well as the occasional game of golf when he can. Will lives in Wokingham, which has been his home for the past twenty-five years.
