Our Shared Services

Our Shared Services team provides a wide range of valuable support to our partner schools that enables our school leaders, teachers, and support staff to prioritise on our children and young people.

Our Shared Services teams are organised into four departments, each with Executive leader oversight:

Corporate Governance - Executive Lead: Jonathon Peck (Chief Executive Officer)

  • Governance of the Trust, including clerking and coordination of governance training
  • Marketing and Communications, including website compliance
  • Policy administration
  • Stakeholder management and engagement
  • Legal
  • Statutory functions

Education and School Improvement - Executive Lead: Andy Johnson (Director of Education)

Our Education and School Improvement department comprises a multi-skilled and experienced team of school leaders who are highly knowledgeable in their fields of expertise.

  • Behaviour, Safeguarding, and Inclusion
  • SEND
  • People Development (with and through the Maiden Erlegh Institute)
  • Policy development and review
  • Peer-led school performance reviews
  • SIP development support
  • Facilitation of peer networks

Finance and Resources - Executive Lead: Sylvie De Groote (Chief Financial Officer)

Our Finance and Resources department ensures robust financial management and oversight through highly qualified finance professionals. 

  • Coordination of internal and external audit
  • Treasury management
  • Financial procedures and governance
  • Accounting, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
  • Budget setting, monitoring, and guidance

Operations - Executive Lead: Julie Foster (Chief Operations Officer)

Our Operations department ensures our schools have access to expertise in a wide range of business and operations support functions, including:

  • Procurement and complex contract management
  • Employee relations case management
  • Payroll
  • Recruitment and selection
  • Performance management
  • GDPR support
  • ICT support and transformation
  • Data and Insights
  • Estates Management, including compliance and complex capital project management
  • Catering - in-house catering management or external catering contract management
